The Curator of Paleontology is responsible for building, researching, and maintaining the paleontology collections at the Museums of Western Colorado, including the technical and professional work in excavating, researching, collecting and restoring fossils according to professional standards. The Curator is also responsible for interpreting collections and engaging in museum outreaching, including educational programming, events, and designing and installing exhibits. The Curator also acts as the Dinosaur Journey Museum Site Manager, and is responsible for ensuring the care, security, and operation of the facility.
