Lucie Duonamou
Summary
Lucie is a young and passionate researcher in the field of Natural Resources Conservation. From 2007 to 2011, she studied for her bachelor degree in Natural Resource Management at the Institute of Superior Agronomy and Veterinary of Faranah (ISAV/F), Guinea where her BSc research titled ''the anthropogenic impact on natural resources in the biosphere reserve of Nimba Mount'' Republic of Guinea. Between 2013 to 2015, she completed her Masters of Science degree in Natural Resource and Biodiversity Management at the University of Abomey Calavi, Republic of Benin, where she researches on Ebola virus diseases and bushmeat consumption in Guinea. She is presently a Ph.D. Scholar at the Department of Nature Reserve Management, School of Nature Conservation, Beijing Forestry University, China. Her research work focused on wildlife resource utilization and protection in the High Niger National, Guinea. Her research interest include:
- Development, implementation and management of sustainable resources management projects
- Socioecological and economic assessments of ecosystem goods and services
- Eco-tourism and protected area development analysis
- Food security, poverty alleviation and sustainable livelihoods projects
- Capacity building, institutional dynamics, cultural and historical perspectives of wildlife resources use.
