Summary

Rafał Doniec, graduated in 1999 with afirst degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gliwice University of Technology. His second degree in telecommunications networks came in 2002 from the Cybernetic Department of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. Mr Doniec earned his PhD diploma in 2010 from his alma mater. While working on a doctorate, he attended the Warsaw Schoolof Economics Postgraduate Business Management Study in 2005-2006.

Since late 1990s to 2014, he has cooperated with the Polish Telecom to develop telecommunications network platforms as well as to manage virtual private networks for the company, earning experience in Internet and Web infrastructures and applications. Since 2013, Doniec worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Communication at the University of Economics in Katowice. Next betwieen 2017-2019 he was visiting Universität Siegen in Medical Data Understanding in Research Group for Pattern Recognition. From 2018 he has been employed as Assistant Professor in at Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering in Zabrze Parallel to classroom duties, he support innovation in the context of corporate projects in the Polish stock company, a manufacturer of cash registers - Elzab S.A. in Zabrze. His research interests are education standards, industry business management, e-learning, e-health, telecommunication, and telemedicine.
