Dr. Xi Cheng. I am mainly engaged in plant secondary metabolism regulation and bioinformatics research. The research materials include fruit trees and Chinese traditional medicinal crops. I mainly use a variety of omics techniques (including transcriptome sequencing, genome resequencing, and miRNA-seq) to identify key genes and regulatory networks for phenylpropanoid metabolism. I am familiar with the fields of plant cell engineering, genetic transformation, bioinformatics and molecular biology.
