PeerJ Author & Reviewer

Summary

I'm a marine biologist working in coral reef ecology. My main area of research is the effect of natural and anthropogenic impacts on the community structure of scleractinian corals. I'm also interested in coastal management, with particular interest in marine protected areas that include coral reefs. I'm a member of the advisory council of the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park. I also participate in environmental education programs for schools and communities about coral reefs topics.
