The Sedio Lab investigates the origin and maintenance of diversity in forest communities using a combination of analytical chemistry, molecular phylogenetics, field experiments, and forest dynamics plots. Our work takes place in Panama, Texas, and sites associated with the Smithsonian ForestGEO global network of forest plots.
