Luis Carlos Martínez is a Researcher on biochemistry and insect physiology in the Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), Brazil. He received his PhD. degree in Entomology from Universidade Federal de Viçosa in 2014, M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Science (Entomology) from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2010 and the engineering degree in Agronomy from Instituto Universitario de La Paz, Colombia, in 2000. Dr. Martínez is also a Research Member of the Department of Entomology working on proteomic of insects and looking for news vulnerabilities as strategies for pest control. His main research interests include the biological control on insect pest, integrated pest management, cell biology, biochemistry and insect physiology, toxicology on insects and ecological populations.
