I co-lead the Quality of Care Research Group (QUASAR) at the Institute of Nursing Science at UNIBAS. We develop innovations for safe, effective, patient-centered, timely and efficient care delivery. With a broad range of observational and interventional studies in long-term care, acute hospital care, psychiatry and the home care setting, we take a system perspective to support clinicians and healthcare management. Our research takes the relevant context into account to achieve sustainable quality improvement. Advanced quantitative and qualitative methods of health services research, the application of implementation science and close cooperation with practice partners and stakeholders support the development of service delivery innovations.
