Summary

HYOUN-JOONG KONG received the B.S. degree
in electrical engineering and the M.S. and
Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from
Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea,
in 2000, 2003, and 2009, respectively. From
2001 to 2009, he was a Research Member
with the Department of Biomedical Engineering,
Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH),
Seoul, where the major research activities were
the development of electronic instrumentation and
intelligent algorithm for medical and biological applications including
telemedicine, telemetric urodynamic system, electronic stethoscope, and
retinal image analysis. From 2009 to 2012, he was a Post-Doctoral
Researcher with the Department of Anesthesiology and the Pain Medicine
and the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, SNUH. From
2013 to 2016, he was a Research Assistant Professor with the Ofce of
Hospital Information, SNUH, where the major research interests were medical
informatics and hospital information system. He joined as a Faculty
Member with the Division of Medical Informatics, College of Medicine,
Chugnam National University Hospital, in 2016, where he is currently an
Assistant Professor. He is a member of the Korea Society of Medical and
Biological Engineering and the Korean Society of Medical Informatics.
