Prof. Russek's research and clinical interests include hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), fibromyalgia, headaches and chronic pain. She is one of the leading researchers on hEDS in the United States, publishing and speaking nationally and internationally. Her current research includes the use of virtual reality to measure motor control and body awareness, and the potential benefits of mindful movement, such as Pilates or Feldenkrais, for people with hEDS.
