Biology
My research has focused in the study of animal ecology, mainly studying demographic and behavioral changes at the level of populations, also have studied the effect on communities of fragmentation and human disturbance in tropical and temperate forests and xeric shrublands. My model studies have focused on two biological groups: terrestrial mammals and dung beetles. More recently, I have incorporated the effects of climate change on biodiversity.
