Summary

I have a PhD in Cell Biology at the Medicine School of the University of Sao Paulo (2004). After a two year postdoctoral fellowship at the Dept. of Proteomics under direction of Dr. Matthias Mann (MPI, Martinsried, Germany), I joined the Gade Institute, University of Bergen, as an Associate Researcher in 2007 to investigate M. tuberculosis biology using state-of-the-art MS. and from 2010 to 2015 I lead the Proteomics Research group and the Proteomics Core Facility at the Oslo University Hospital. I am currently a Professor at the Biochemistry Department, UFRN, Brazil.
