Summary

I received my Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology from Washington University, St. Louis in 1980. Over the past 40 years I have studied the behavior, ecology, cognition, and conservation of nonhuman primates throughout Central and South America and China. I served for 10 years as the Executive Editor of the American Journal of Primatology. I am current a Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL.
