Summary

My lab group studies ecology, evolution, and conservation of aquatic biota in dryland regions of the world. We use time-series analyses, museum specimens and archives, elements (e.g., stable isotopes) and molecules (e.g., DNA, RNA) to document and study responses of species, communities, and ecosystems to natural and human-caused environmental change. We interact with a broad community of scholars, conservation scientists, and other stakeholders.
