Graduation in Biological Sciences at Santa Úrsula University (1995), Masters and Doctorate in Tropical Biology and Natural Resources by the National Research Institute of the Amazon (1998/2003). He is currently a Permanent Professor of the Federal Institute of Science and Technology Education (IFES), Permanent Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Fisheries Science in the Tropics of the Federal University of Amazonas (CIPET / UFAM) and Researcher of the National Institute of Amazonian Research / INPA).
