Summary

I am a medical researcher with broad experience (10+ years, 10+ publications) of lecturing and fieldwork in Eritrea and abroad. Having a BSN degree of 4 years courses + 3 summer practical studies from the University of Asmara, has enhanced my understanding on the medical research especially in the field of public health. In 2012, I specialized in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from an oversea University, Tianjin Medical University, China. I have been involved in several researches on population health and health facility needs assessment leading to national policy evaluation by the Ministry of Health in Eritrea. I have gained commendable experience on proposal writing, data collection, management, analysis, and report writing that are critical for becoming an independent researcher. Although much of the science that I have been involved with has been exploratory descriptive studies, Epidemiology also involves in-depth clinical trials research to come up with the most convincing outcomes. I am very interested in participating in cohort and clinical trial studies in the future.
Currently I am studying my PhD. degree majoring in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Xi'an Jiaotong University , Health Science Center, Xi'an Shaanxi Province China. The major department of our current research project is focused on maternal and child health.
