PhD in the Department of Paleontology and Stratigraphy, Institute of Geosciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. He was responsible curator of the Paleontology Collection of the Center for Paleontological Researches L. I (CPPLIP), Peirópolis Cultural and Scientific Complex (CPPLIP) of UFTM (Peirópolis, Uberaba, MG) from 2010 to 2013 and is currently a collaborating researcher at that institution. He is Adjunct Researcher of the CONICET-Argentina at the Seccion Paleontologia de Vertebrados, Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales B. Rivadavia, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He works in several areas of Vertebrate Paleontology, with emphasis on Triassic cynodonts and Cretaceous tetrapods from South America.
