Summary
My background is in Biomedical and Instrumentation Engineering with a research focus on Electrophysiology and Biomedical application of Electrical stimulation. After my M.Sc. studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of applied science in Aachen, Germany I completed my Ph.D. studies at the University of Göttingen, Germany with a focus on Electrophysiology and Electrical stimulation.
Currently, I am serving as a Scientific researcher at Hannover Medical School, Germany with a research focus on the detection of cell occupation on cochlear implants and implant
position for atraumatic insertion and long-term monitoring of stimulation efficiency.
Over the 12 years of biomedical research experience in academia, I have developed skills like,
• Conceiving Ideas, designing and conducting experiments, data analysis, and experimental troubleshooting
• Scientific writing and editing
• Reviewing papers for scientific journals
• Developing fruitful collaborations across the globe to promote multidisciplinary research
• Disseminating the research findings through scientific publications, talks, blogs, posters, visiting conferences, and workshops
• Organizing lab seminars and lab meetings
• Mentoring bachelor' and master' students
