Summary
Cristián, is the head of the Evolutionary Ecology and Phyloinformatics Laboratory at the Universidad de Concepción. His lines of research are within the framework of Evolutionary Ecology, where he studies the evolutionary component of macroecological patterns. His research is based on the utilization of models of diversification, and models of ecological and morphological trait evolution in a phylogenetic and biogeographic context, to understood patterns of biodiversity.
