I am interested in symbionts evolutionary biology, mainly including molecular data and geographical distribution, with a particular focus on helminth fauna of vertebrate and invertebrate of aquatic wildlife.

My current research is focussed on the genetic diversity of helminth parasites of Paralichthyidae, marine fishes from Mexico Gulf. In this study, I am exploring the genetic structure from parasitic organism associate to chemical contamination.
