Researcher at the Department of Earth and Marine Sciences (DiSTeM) of the University of Palermo, Italy. I'm an Evolutionary, Marine Biologist and Molecular Ecologist interested in the population genetics and ecology of marine organisms. Actually I'm involved in the application of marine environmental DNA to assess biodiversity and connectivity. My main research interests ranging from the evolution, connectivity and dispersal of fish populations, to the development and use of new genomic and biotechnological resources and their applications for sustainable management of fishery resources.
