Dr Gilbert Lam is the Visiting Professor at Kinesiology at Shenyang Sport University. He is also acting as Head and Director for LN Sports Science Research Center. He completed his MPhil at Orthopaedics Surgery Dept and PhD at Institute of Human Performance, University of Hong Kong.

He was the active basketball coach for athletes at various competition levels. He leads the footwear innovation and research activities in various court sports for his company. His research areas are ranging from biomechanics, footwear perception, sport injury to motor learning and performance
