Summary
I am a researcher in the field of biostatistics at Erciyes University. I completed my PhD. at Hacettepe University, Department of Biostatistics under the supervision of Dr. Erdem Karabulut and Dr. Ahmet Ozturk with the thesis entitled "Novel Machine Learning Approaches for Classification of RNA-Seq Data". During the period in 2013, I participated to Beijing Genome Institue (BGI) as a visiting scholar with Dr. Turgay Unver's project: 'Olive (olea europaea) Genome Project'. My research mainly focuses on bioinformatics, next-generation sequencing analysis, RNA-Seq, machine learning, transcriptomics analysis, de novo sequencing and growth curve modeling.
