Dr. Yu-Chao Chang, DDS, MMS, PhD, is Professor and Dean, College of Oral Medicine, School of Dentistry, Chung Shan Medical University. He received his dental degree at the College of Chung Shan Dental and Medical College. Dr. Chang began his career as a dentist with specialist training and Master’s degree in periodontics at Chung Shan Medical University Hospital, and a PhD degree in Medicine at the Institute of Medicine of Chung Shan Medical University (2002). He directs the Oral Medicne Research Center. His research interests include oral carcinogenesis, dental material biocompatibility, periodontology, and pulp biology. He has contributed to over 190 peer-reviewed research papers. He has been a member of editorial board of Journal of Dental Sciences and is presently also Associate Editor of Odontology. Also, he is involved in the editorial processes of a lot of national and international journals.
