Summary

Andrew Colman graduated with a BA, followed by an MA in Psychology from the University of Cape Town in 1968 and a PhD from Rhodes University in 1979. He was a Graduate Teaching Assistant, then a Junior Lecturer at the University of Cape Town and was appointed as a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Leicester in 1970, where he was promoted to a Reader in 1984 and a full Professor in 2000.
