I am a principal investigator in the animal cognition laboratory at Sagami Women's University, leading research on learning and cognition in rodents. My work involves designing and conducting experiments to investigate visual perception, memory, and metacognition, with applications in both comparative cognition and translational neuroscience. I oversee research projects, mentor students, and collaborate with colleagues to advance our understanding of cognitive mechanisms. In addition to my research, I teach undergraduate courses in the psychology of learning, animal cognition, physiological psychology, and psychological experiments.
