Summary

I obtained my Master degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from CINVESTAV-IPN and my Phd in Genetics and Cellular and Molecular Biology from Universite Louis Pasteur, in Strasbourg. I spent three years as Postdoctoral scientist at the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in Manchester. In 2008, I started my current position as Professor-Researcher at the School of Chemical and Biological Sciences in Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero. My research interest are Cell and Molecular Biology of Cancer, in particular breast and cervical cancer. In my lab we focus on the correlation between obesity and breast cancer, and on the role of the small GPTase Rac1 in cervical and breast cancer
