In this study, authors had explored the predictive value of liver and spleen stiffness measurement based on two-dimensional shear wave elastography for the portal vein pressure in patients with compensatory viral cirrhosis. This is an interesting study. Here, I just I give some suggestions to improve the manuscript.

This paper provides an overview of liver cirrhosis, its complications, and the current methods used to assess portal hypertension. It also highlights the potential of two-dimensional shear wave elastography as an innovative method for measuring liver and spleen stiffness and its predictive value for changes in portal vein pressure in patients with compensatory viral cirrhosis. The basic reporting of this manuscript meets the requirements of the journal.
The experimental design is reasonable and meets the requirements of the journal. I have no other comments.
The findings are basically valid and the results were supported by sufficient data and analysis.
Here are a few suggestions to improve the paragraph:
1. Define technical terms. When using technically-specific terms like "hepatic vein pressure gradient" and "two-dimensional shear wave elastography", a brief definition or explanation may be necessary to ensure understanding for readers unfamiliar with the terminology.
2. Providing more context and justification in the introduction would make the introduction benefit from explaining why the research is necessary and what the research hopes to achieve.
3. Explain diagnostic criteria are important to the study, including the diagnostic criteria for viral hepatitis and cirrhosis. Additionally, what was the criteria of combined detection using shear-wave elastography.
4. Explain the significance of the observations and measures used in the Methods.
5. Avoid long sentences and paragraphs for easy readability.
6. Combine the results of different sections to provide more coherence and flow for the reader.
7. Provide a clear conclusion that summarizes the key findings of each result.
8. Provide more detailed information on the characteristics of patients who participated in the research study, such as demographic data to help readers' better contextualize the findings.
9. Explain each statistical method used to analyze each data to prove the statistical validity of the results.
10. Interpret each result in the “Results” part and provide a detailed description of the findings of the study, including their clinical implications.
