Summary
I am a biologist and I did my masters and doctoral studies at the Biosciences Institute of the University of São Paulo (IB-USP). My academic research focus on systematics, taxonomy, species delimitation and evolution of Lepidoptera with emphasis on morphology and polymorphism, mainly in the families Castniidae, Geometridae and Erebidae. Currently I am an associate researcher (no employment relationship), at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where I am studying the following topics: (i) molecular species delimitation and morphological diversity of the inchworm genus Eois (Geometridae), (ii) morphology of androconial scent organs mimicry and species delimitation in neotropical lichen moths (Erebidae: Lithosiini), (iii) phylogenetics and taxonomy of giant butterfly-moths (Castniidae) (iv) phylogenetics, evolution of sexual dimorphism and niche modeling of pericopines (Erebidae: Pericopina). Additionally, I develop science communication activities, helping to create contents for social media of the laboratory of ecology and systematics of butterflies (LABBOR- UNICAMP, (@labbor_unicamp on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook).
