Summary

I’m a biologist by the Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas at Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango. I studied my Master of Science degree in the Facultad of Ciencias Forestales at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. I studied my Ph.D. degree in Instituto de Ecología, A.C. (INECOL, A.C.) at the Department of Multitrophic Interactions. Currently, I have a postdoctoral position in the Facultad of Ciencias Forestales at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.

My research experience includes plant-animal interactions, botanical surveys, reproductive phenology, pollination, herbivory and ecological interactions networks.

I´m interested to know in how these ecological interactions shape the ecosystems. In addition, I´m interested in how the interactions species contributes to maintains the entire communities in nature.

My doctoral thesis consisted in describing the reproductive phenology of plants and was related to environmental variables. In addition, I described the plant-pollinator interactions at a network level. All data were recorded in six types of vegetation in a highly seasonal coastal ecosystem.
