Animesh Jain is currently a Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, (Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India). He does research in Medicine and allied health specialities with adolescent health, road traffic injury, bronchial asthma, malaria, health systems research, medical education, bioethics being his interest areas. Dr Animesh Jain is an alumnus of KMC Mangalore (MBBS 2001) and KMC Manipal (MD 2004). He has served as faculty at KMC Mangalore since 2004 and had been the HoD of Community Medicine during March 2015 to February 2020. Currentl yhe serves as a Professor in the department of Community Medicine and also as Dy. Coordinator of Medical Education Unit. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students and also contributes to curricular enrichment. He has guided a few PhD scholars too.
