Retraction: As a result of an investigation initiated by the Publisher, the Authors were unable to provide proof of the prospective approval for their research. The Publisher was also unable to gain a response from the appropriate Institutional Review Board. Additional investigation found important discrepancies in the sequences of the primers used, as well as in the supplied original photos of the blots, which do not correspond to the ones shown in the paper.
As a result, this article is Retracted. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and the COPE guidelines. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”. This Retraction updates an Expression of Concern which was issued on April 21st 2024.
The authors do not agree with the retraction.
