Titular Researcher in the Agricultural Meteorology Program from 1983 to 2018 for National Institute of Forestry, Agriculture and Livestock Research. Professor of Climatology and Applied Climatology in University of Guadalajara since 1995. Member of the Mexican Soil Science Society, Mexican Agrometeorology Society and Mexican Phytogenetics Society. Author and co-author of 105 articles published in national and international journals regarding climatology, soil science, climate change, agrometeorology of crops, crop wild relatives ecological descriptors and distribution, ecology of crops.
