My actual research areas are (1) systematics and historical biogeography with DNA-based studies, (2) species delimitation based in DNA analysis and vocalizations, (3) link between phylogeography and conservation, (4) songs and vocal behaviour of birds and (5) aquatic bird surveys and conservation.
