Xin Liu

Summary

Currently, Dr. Xin Liu is Deputy Director of Central Laboratory of the Affiliated Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital of Qingdao University. He is also Head and Associate Professor of the Male Reproductive Medicine Research Group, and Director of the Life Omics Research Group at Central Laboratory of the Affiliated Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital of Qingdao University. He is standing committee member of Shandong Medical Association, committee member of China Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Association, and Director of Shandong society of Biochemistry and molecular biology (China).
Dr. Xin Liu obtained his Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) from Yantai University (China) in 2001, his MSc in Zoology in 2004 at Shanxi University (China), and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical analysis in 2007 at National Center for Protein Sciences (China). From October 2009 to June 2012, he studied with Trevor Cooper and chinghei Yeung (Institute of reproductive medicine, University of Minster, Germany) and completed the scientific research training of Andrology. His team is mainly engaged in Andrology, Human Reproduction, Proteomics and Bioinformatics, and aims to provide new targets and ideas for the analysis of the pathogenesis of infertility and the diagnosis and treatment of reproductive diseases. Dr. Xin Liu has been involved in 10+ national projects and 50+ publications on proteomics, male infertility, sperm maturation and sperm quality assessment.
