Summary

I am broadly interested in how evolution has shaped the sensory systems of different organisms. I have published and presented research on a variety of topics including chemesthesis, TRP channels, metabolic regulation, neuro-inflammation, and non-canonical expression of taste receptors using organisms as diverse as humans, mice, fruit flies, spiders, and earthworms.
