Summary

He graduated from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering (major: water management) at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology (1993). He defended his doctoral thesis at the Environmental Engineering Department of the Grańsk University of Technology (1999). The main part of his studies includes mathematical modelling of rapidly varied flows in built-up areas. His habilitation thesis focused on physical and mathematical modelling of flood flows in cities (2008). He works at the Hydraulic Engineering Department, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environment of the Gdańsk University of Technology, and teaches fluid mechanics, hydraulics and hydrology.
