Takehiro Yamakoshi (M’06) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from the Muroran Institute of Technology, Muroran, Japan, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Fukui University, Fukui, Japan.
In 2006, he was an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kanazawa University, Kanazawa, Japan, where since 2012, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mechanical Engineering, College of Science and Engineering, where since 2014, he has been an Associate Professor in the Information and Systems Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan, where since 2019, he has been in the Institute of Liberal Arts and Science, Kanazawa University, Japan, and the Division of Research & Development, MedicAlpha Corporation, Japan.
His current research interests include physiological measurement, bio-signal analysis, biomedical optics, health informatics, personal healthcare, welfare engineering, mobile health, stress assessment, and physiological measurement for safer driving.
