Summary

I’m interested in studying the brain dynamics involved in internally oriented attention and their impact on human behavior. My research has focused on assessing how imagination influences attention/perception and its role in more abstract/complex processes, such as future planning and creativity, using cognitive neuroscience methods. I’ve also studied the neural bases that distinguish external/internal attention by studying interoception, working memory, and, more recently, the ASMR experience.
