Pedro Jiménez-Mejías

PeerJ Author & Reviewer

Summary

Since I was very young, I have been fascinated by biodiversity. I have developed my career focusing on Angiosperms, covering different aspects of plant diversity. I have a particular interest on taxonomy and the genus Carex (Cyperaceae). Currently, my collaborators and I develop in different plant groups lines in population genetics, phylogenetics, diversification, morphometrics, reproductive biology, taxonomy, paleobotany and other topics.
