Summary
I am an ecologist with more than 20 years experience working in the estuarine and riparian habitats of southern California. I spend about half my time overseeing the control of invasive plants and the restoration of riparian and upland sites as Project Manager for SWIA’s Tijuana River Valley Invasive Plant Control Program. The other half of my time I spend conducting ecological research on riparian plants in the valley. Most recently I have documented the devastating impact of a ‘new’ invasive beetle on the riparian forests of the valley.
