My project aims to understand the underlying mechanism of taiman interaction with yorkie to regulate developmental growth. Taiman is a co-activator of ecdysone signaling and has been shown to regulate proliferation in cancer conditions. Yorkie is a co-activator of hippo pathway and has been shown to be deregulated in several cancers.
