Summary

I graduated Department of Agriculture, Tokyo University and wrote doctor thesis in the same university about benthic invertebrates and detritus dynamics in mountain streams. I worked in Kyoto University and Public Works Research Institute as a researcher for a long time, and my research topics were bedform-habitats, hydraulics, benthic invertebrates, channel degradation ecosystem issues, sediment-supply restoration in river ecosystems. I recently move to Wenzhou University in China and am involved in studies of eutrophication issues, sediment-water interactions, and water quality and habitat remediation in ponds and lakes.
