Summary

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar, Brazil) (2008), a Master's degree in Ecology and Natural Resources from Federal University of São Carlos( UFSCar, Brazil) (2011) and a PhD in Ecology and Conservation from Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS, Brazil) (2017) with a PhD sandwich fellowship (CAPES/PDSE) at the Royal Ontario Museum (Canada) (2017). Currently, I am a collaborator in the following research groups: Laboratory of Ecology and Mapinguari Lab (UFMS), Laboratory of Ecological Studies on Ethology and Evolution (UFSCar) and Aquatic Insect and Cytotaxonomy Laboratory (INPA). I am also a Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in Biological Science - Zoology at the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB). I have experience in zoology, with emphasis on ecology and genetics of organisms, working mainly on the following topics: aquatic insects, amphibians and reptiles, molecular techniques for identification of the Brazilian fauna and DNA Barcoding.
