Yixuan Ku
Summary
Yixuan Ku is now a full Professor at the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science at East China Normal University. Dr. Ku obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, and finished his post-doctoral training at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He joined East China Normal University since 2012 and became the PI of Laboratory of Memory, Attention, and Cognition. Dr. Ku focused on neural mechanisms underlying human memory and attention. He used multimodal neuroimaging methods and computational models to understand the cognitive processes, and tried to apply these mechanisms in the special groups of people (ageing adults, schizophrenia patients, children with autism spectrum disorder). His research got published in Brain Stimulation, Cerebral Cortex, European Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Neurophysiology, Neuropsychologia, Neurobiology of Aging, et al. He served as a PI or co-Investigator in multiple grants, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Committee of Science and Technology, and the National Key Fundamental Research (973) Program.
