Victor C. Kok
Dr. Kok is Head of the Cancer Center and Division of Medical Oncology, KTGH, Taichung, Taiwan. Obtained his MD and MMedSc at Chung Shan Medical University, Taichung, and subsequently, a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Informatics at Asia University, in 1989, 1996, and 2014, respectively. He was certified in Medical Oncology Certification Exam by the European Society for Medical Oncology in 1995. He became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2012. VC Kok's research interests include cancer epidemiology, oncology, internal medicine, palliative care and population-health informatics. In 2014, he joined Asia University as an Assistant Professor. He is currently an academic editor of Medicine (Baltimore), a review editor for Frontiers in Oncology and Frontiers in Pharmacology. Dr. Kok is currently attending the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Cancer Biology & Therapeutics (CBT): High-Impact Cancer Research (HICR) 2018/2019 at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts.
