Summary

Senior researcher (44 years seniority, highest level), at the Instituto de Ciencias del Mar y Limnología, UNAM, in the Puerto Morelos (mexican Caribbean campus, known as UASA). Professor in postgraduate marine biology studies and how to direct marine research expeditions at sea; member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences since 1994. I work mainly on annelid Polychaetes' and some crustaceans taxonomy, ecology of benthic communities in all kinds of substrates and ecosystems, from beaches to hydrothermal vents, from mangroes, seagrasses, dead corals, sargassum, cenotes, coastal lagoons, continetal shelf, deep sea, in all the littorals of Mexico.
