Ursula Höfle

Summary

Ursula Höfle is a veterinary scientist and professor at the Spanish National Wildlife research Institute. Her research focuses on infectious diseases of wild birds important at the interface of wildlife, domestic animals and man as well as with importance for conservation. She is responsible for the area of avian diseases and pathology at her institute. Her primary fields of research include currently shared diseases such as avian influenza, Newcastle disease, West Nile fever or bacteria carrying antimicrobial resistance mechanisms.
