Graduated from the National Veterinary School of Lyon (France, 1992), and PhD in Biomedical sciences at Université de Montréal (Quebec, 1999). Knight of the Ordre du Mérite Agricole, France (2009) for his work in animal pain management, “Researcher of the year 2010”, “Excellence in research 2013”, and Best Industry – University Partnership of the year in Quebec. His work focuses on pain mechanisms and functional restriction in naturally occurring and experimental osteoarthritis in dogs and cats.
