Dr. Tridane joined the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in Fall 2013. Prior to his current position at UAEU, he was an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University in the U.S. where he had previously worked as an Assistant Research Professor. He has also worked as an industrial consultant. Dr. Tridane has contributed to undergraduate training programs such as Mathematical Theoretical Biology Institute (MTBI) and Undergraduate Research Experiences in Mathematical Biology program (UBM). In addition, he has been PI and Co-PI in different research grants funded by NSF, ARO, NRO, USAID.
Dr. Tridane has several publications on mathematical modelling of communicable and non-communicable diseases. His current research is in mathematical and computational modelling of diseases in the Middle East, Public Health data analytic and infectious diseases surveillance and control.
